قصہ تو زلف یار کا طول و طویل ہے
پہنچا ہے آج قیس کا یاں سلسلہ مجھے
مہرباں پاتے نہیں تیرے تئیں یک آن ہم
کس روز الٰہی وہ مرا یار ملے گا
دیت اس قاتل بے رحم سے کیا لیجئے گا
دل کے آئینے میں نت جلوہ کناں رہتا ہے
عالم میں حسن تیرا مشہور جانتے ہیں
