charag hai, kitab hai sawal hai, jawab hai

ki aasman munDer hai ki ye zamin bhi Dher hai

kisi ka koi nam hai na zindagi mudam hai

magar wo ek shaKHs hai jo dhup ki kagar hai

jahan ka us pe bar hai

chale chalo ki waqt hai, azab kitna saKHt hai

magar wo kab zawal hai, wo mausamon ki shaal hai

pahan rahi hai sham bhi badal rahi hai raat bhi ki ug raha hai aasman ki dhul rahi hai phir sahar

charag hai, kitab hai, sawal hai, jawab hai

magar hain log aaj kal

na is taraf na us taraf na is taraf na us taraf
