پتھر کے جسم موم کے چہرے دھواں دھواں
کون پہچانے گا زریںؔ مجھ کو اتنی بھیڑ میں
دیکھ کر انسان کی بیچارگی
اگر وہ چاند کی بستی کا رہنے والا تھا
ذہن و دل کے فاصلے تھے ہم جنہیں سہتے رہے
روح جسموں سے باہر بھٹکتی رہی
منزلیں آئیں تو رستے کھو گئے
خواب آنکھوں سے زباں سے ہر کہانی لے گیا
جسم و جاں کی بستی میں سلسلے نہیں ملتے
گھبرا گئے ہیں وقت کی تنہائیوں سے ہم
بے سمت راستوں پہ صدا لے گئی مجھے
عجیب کرب مسلسل دل و نظر میں رہا
اگر وہ مل کے بچھڑنے کا حوصلہ رکھتا
