شہر میں جینا ہے چلنا دو رخی تلوار پر (ردیف .. ے)
شہر کا منظر ہمارے گھر کے پس منظر میں ہے
سامنے جھیل ہے جھیل میں آسماں
اس سیہ خانے میں تجھ کو جاگنا ہے رات بھر
ہونے والا تھا اک حادثہ رہ گیا
اپنی لغزش کو تو الزام نہ دے گا کوئی
آندھیوں کا خواب ادھورا رہ گیا
آج سوچا ہے جاگوں گا میں رات میں
