سر سوداؔ پہ ترے شعر رسا سے آگاہؔ
میں تیرے ہجر میں جینے سے ہو گیا تھا اداس
کیا خوب میرے بخت کی منڈوے چڑھی ہے بیل
کیا فائدہ ہے قصۂ رضوان سے تجھے
دیکھتے دیکھتے ستم تیرا
شاہد غیب ہویدا نہ ہوا تھا سو ہوا
رہتا ہے زلف یار مرے من سے من لگا
نہیں ہے اشک سے یہ خون ناب آنکھوں میں
محو فریاد ہو گیا ہے دل
لب جاں بخش کے میٹھے کا تیرے جو مزہ پایا
کیوں کر نہ ایسے جینے سے یا رب ملول ہوں
دل میں دل دار نہاں تھا مجھے معلوم نہ تھا
دل کو لے جی کو اب لبھاتے ہو
اگرچہ دل کو لے ساتھ اپنے آیا اشک مرا
