جو میرے گاؤں کے کھیتوں میں بھوک اگنے لگی
غریب شہر تو فاقے سے مر گیا عارفؔ
اپنے دروازے پہ خود ہی دستکیں دیتا ہے وہ (ردیف .. ے)
اندھے عدم وجود کے گرداب سے نکل
عارفؔ حسین دھوکا سہی اپنی زندگی
