میں تو بس یہ چاہتا ہوں وصل بھی
میں خود سے چھپا لیکن
اے شب غم مرے مقدر کی
اب اگر عشق کے آثار نہیں بدلیں گے
وہ نظر مہرباں اگر ہوتی
میں حرف ابتدا ہوں
گھر سے نکلنا جب مری تقدیر ہو گیا
دور سے کیا مسکرا کر دیکھنا
دل تھا کہ غم جاں تھا
بے حسی انسان کا حاصل نہ ہو
اگر کچھ اعتبار جسم و جاں ہو
اب اگر عشق کے آثار نہیں بدلیں گے
