وَيۡلٌ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِيۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۱﴾

Woe unto the defrauders: ﴾1﴿

الَّذِيۡنَ اِذَا اكۡتَالُوۡا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُوۡنَۖ‏ ﴿۲﴾

Those who when they take the measure from mankind demand it full, ﴾2﴿

وَاِذَا كَالُوۡهُمۡ اَوْ وَّزَنُوۡهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۳﴾

But if they measure unto them or weight for them, they cause them loss. ﴾3﴿

اَلَا يَظُنُّ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَنَّهُمۡ مَّبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۴﴾

Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again ﴾4﴿

لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۵﴾

Unto an Awful Day, ﴾5﴿

يَّوۡمَ يَقُوۡمُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۶﴾

The day when (all) mankind stand before the Lord of the Worlds? ﴾6﴿

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الۡفُجَّارِ لَفِىۡ سِجِّيۡنٍؕ‏ ﴿۷﴾

Nay, but the record of the vile is in Sijjin - ﴾7﴿

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا سِجِّيۡنٌؕ‏ ﴿۸﴾

Ah! what will convey unto thee what Sijjin is! - ﴾8﴿

كِتٰبٌ مَّرۡقُوۡمٌؕ‏ ﴿۹﴾

A written record. ﴾9﴿

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۱۰﴾

Woe unto the repudiators on that day! ﴾10﴿

الَّذِيۡنَ يُكَذِّبُوۡنَ بِيَوۡمِ الدِّيۡنِؕ‏ ﴿۱۱﴾

Those who deny the Day of Judgment ﴾11﴿

وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهٖۤ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ اَثِيۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۱۲﴾

Which none denieth save each criminal transgressor, ﴾12﴿

اِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاطِيۡرُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۱۳﴾

Who, when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith: (Mere) fables of the men of old. ﴾13﴿

كَلَّا‌ بَلۡ؄ رَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَكۡسِبُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۱۴﴾

Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. ﴾14﴿

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّهُمۡ عَنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لَّمَحۡجُوۡبُوۡنَ‌ؕ‏ ﴿۱۵﴾

Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. ﴾15﴿

ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُوۡا الۡجَحِيۡمِؕ‏ ﴿۱۶﴾

Then lo! they verily will burn in hell, ﴾16﴿

ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذِىۡ كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۱۷﴾

And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. ﴾17﴿

كَلَّاۤ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الۡاَبۡرَارِ لَفِىۡ عِلِّيِّيۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۱۸﴾

Nay, but the record of the righteous is in 'Illiyin - ﴾18﴿

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا عِلِّيُّوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۱۹﴾

Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! - ﴾19﴿

كِتٰبٌ مَّرۡقُوۡمٌۙ‏ ﴿۲۰﴾

A written record, ﴾20﴿

يَّشۡهَدُهُ الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۲۱﴾

Attested by those who are brought near (unto their Lord). ﴾21﴿

اِنَّ الۡاَبۡرَارَ لَفِىۡ نَعِيۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۲۲﴾

Lo! the righteous verily are in delight, ﴾22﴿

عَلَى الۡاَرَآٮِٕكِ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۲۳﴾

On couches, gazing, ﴾23﴿

تَعۡرِفُ فِىۡ وُجُوۡهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ النَّعِيۡمِ‌ۚ‏ ﴿۲۴﴾

Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight. ﴾24﴿

يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِنۡ رَّحِيۡقٍ مَّخۡتُوۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۲۵﴾

They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, ﴾25﴿

خِتٰمُهٗ مِسۡكٌ  ‌ؕ وَفِىۡ ذٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ الۡمُتَنــَافِسُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۲۶﴾

Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss - ﴾26﴿

وَ مِزَاجُهٗ مِنۡ تَسۡنِيۡمٍۙ‏ ﴿۲۷﴾

And mixed with water of Tasnim, ﴾27﴿

عَيۡنًا يَّشۡرَبُ بِهَا الۡمُقَرَّبُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۲۸﴾

A spring whence those brought near (to Allah) drink. ﴾28﴿

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡا كَانُوۡا مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا يَضۡحَكُوۡنَۖ‏ ﴿۲۹﴾

Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed, ﴾29﴿

وَاِذَا مَرُّوۡا بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُوۡنَۖ‏ ﴿۳۰﴾

And wink one to another when they passed them; ﴾30﴿

وَاِذَا انقَلَبُوۡۤا اِلٰٓى اَهۡلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوۡا فَكِهِيۡنَۖ‏ ﴿۳۱﴾

And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting; ﴾31﴿

وَاِذَا رَاَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَـضَآلُّوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۳۲﴾

And when they saw them they said: Lo! these have gone astray. ﴾32﴿

وَمَاۤ اُرۡسِلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حٰفِظِيۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۳۳﴾

Yet they were not sent as guardians over them. ﴾33﴿

فَالۡيَوۡمَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مِنَ الۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُوۡنَۙ‏ ﴿۳۴﴾

This day it is those who believe who have the laugh of disbelievers, ﴾34﴿

عَلَى الۡاَرَآٮِٕكِۙ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَؕ‏ ﴿۳۵﴾

On high couches, gazing. ﴾35﴿

هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ الۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡعَلُوۡنَ‏ ﴿۳۶﴾

Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? ﴾36﴿
