وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثۡلُهَاۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُهٗ عَلَى اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ﴿۴۰﴾
اور برائی کا بدلہ تو اسی طرح کی برائی ہے۔ مگر جو درگزر کرے اور (معاملے کو) درست کردے تو اس کا بدلہ خدا کے ذمے ہے۔ اس میں شک نہیں کہ وہ ظلم کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا﴿۴۰﴾
The guerdon of an ill-deed is an ill the like thereof. But whosoever pardoneth and amendeth, his wage is the affair of Allah. Lo! He loveth not wrong-doers.﴾40﴿
