اِنَّ هٰذَاۤ اَخِىۡ لَهٗ تِسۡعٌ وَّتِسۡعُوۡنَ نَعۡجَةً وَّلِىَ نَعۡجَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ اَكۡفِلۡنِيۡهَا وَعَزَّنِىۡ فِىۡ الۡخِطَابِ﴿۲۳﴾
(کیفیت یہ ہے کہ) یہ میرا بھائی ہے اس کے (ہاں) ننانوے دنبیاں ہیں اور میرے (پاس) ایک دُنبی ہے۔ یہ کہتا ہے کہ یہ بھی میرے حوالے کردے اور گفتگو میں مجھ پر زبردستی کرتا ہے﴿۲۳﴾
Lo! this my brother hath ninety and nine ewes while I had one ewe; and he said: Entrust it to me, and he conquered me in speech.﴾23﴿
